Our experience includes the following:
Machine Design: We enjoy designing machines. We have successfully designed machines with gears, sprockets, bearings, pulleys, shafts, belts, mechanisms, etc., etc., etc.
Fluid System Design: Our experience with our pumps gives us special insight into fluid system design. This includes piping systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, water, steam), pump sizing and design, hydraulic control circuits, and more.
Thermal System Design: This includes heat transfer, combustion, and thermodynamics.
Forensics: We can thoroughly investigate any mechanical failure and recommend changes to prevent future failures.
Drafting: Do you have working parts but don't know how to get them into production? We can provide drawings (paper and/or electronic) and other production information in order to get your parts manufactured.
We use the latest Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer Aided Design (CAD). We specialize in traditional tools such as hand calculated stress analysis, hand calculated heat transfer, and hand calculated fluid flow. Most of all we use common sense and intuition based on our many years of engineering experience.
